Tina Klucsik

A good interior designer is a good listener. My client interviewing skills are a point of pride: knowing how to ask questions that elicit the most information, in the most efficient manner. I listen closely to your personal story about how you envision your home and what drew you to it in the first place. What I bring is my breadth of experience and expertise:

  • my deep knowledge of design, with my education and more than 20 years in the industry.

  • my understanding of how to pull it all together — both aesthetically and for optimum usefulness, matched to your lifestyle.

  • my superb sourcing, especially of American-made products.

Listening is at the core of how I enhance your beloved house, or room. It’s how I maximize the functionality in any given space, whether you want something pared-down modern, “to period,” transitional, Craftsman style, coastal, contemporary European, or beyond.

I grew up working in my family’s upholstery and interiors business. I learned not just about upholstery but also how to achieve a client’s design goal. During summers and on Saturdays, I’d work in the store with my parents. My mother, who knew her textiles and was a masterful seamstress herself, was also very intuitive in understanding her customers’ design goals. She’d say, “What is it that you want to do?” She always delivered just what her customers wanted, even the nuances implied in what they said. Her customers were very happy.

My clients are happy, too. I’d love to hear from you, to hear your personal story. Your home can express your story beautifully, functionally, and with an elegance that reflects “getting it right.”

So, what is it that you want to do?
